WASHINGTON – U.S. Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-NJ-8) today unveiled the latest component of his constituent outreach effort by announcing the launch of his own channel on YouTube.
“I’m very excited about using this medium to communicate with people in the 8th Congressional District,” said Pascrell, and member of the House Ways and Means and Homeland Security committees. “People have increasing demands on their time, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t interested in what their congressman is doing. Constituents will be able to will be able to catch up with their congressman when their schedule allows.”
Web surfers can see the congressman’s channel at www.youtube.com/user/RepPascrell, where video clips will be added occasionally. Among the videos on the channel, are three clips from the latest edition of “To The Point,” the congressman’s issues-oriented cable television program. Two clips of recent field initiatives were produced by the congressman’s communications staff. The congressman’s YouTube channel is available through the web site’s “House Hub” (www.youtube.com/househub), which was launched in January.
